The Office of Total Catholic Education, located in the Catholic Pastoral Center for the Diocese of Colorado Springs, is responsible for the hiring of Principals, full and part-time teachers, teacher aides and substitute teachers for the Unified Catholic Schools: Corpus Christi, Divine Redeemer, St. Paul, St. Peter and Ave Maria Catholic schools as well as Holy Apostles and St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Preschools. Requirements for Full and Part-time Teachers
All full-time and part-time teacher applicants to the Diocese of Colorado Springs must have a current license from the state of Colorado.
Requirements for Substitute Teachers
Substitute teacher applicants must hold a current Colorado teaching certificate, or a current Colorado substitute certificate.
When a new position at our schools becomes available, candidates from our active applicant file are forwarded to the Principal for review. At that time the Principal has the option to contact candidates of interest who meet the requirements for the position. Please contact Principals directly for additional information regarding the positions and requirements.
Secretaries, administrative assistants, lunchroom employees, and custodians are hired on site at each school. The Office of Total Catholic Education does not process those applications.
