Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Colorado Springs begin
Diocesan-wide strategic planning process
Catholic schools are essential to the teaching and evangelizing ministry of the Church. This ministry supports parents in the formation and education of children and requires significant financial and personal investments of time, talent, and treasure. While the enrollment in Diocesan Catholic schools is increasing, there is a definite need to address identified challenges, shifting demographics, and economic pressures that parishes and schools are unable to address in isolation. Bishop Sheridan and Diocesan leaders recognize that the time is NOW for developing a strategic plan that will chart the course for the future of our Catholic schools.
The Diocese has engaged a nationally-recognized strategic planning consultant, Catholic School Management (CSM) who are respected experts in working with Catholic schools across the nation. CMS assists in focusing on specified goals and achieving those goals. The Diocese of Colorado Springs is working with CSM to create a strategic plan to evaluate and address Catholic identity, academics, school finance, governance, marketing and enrollment, development as well as several school-specific recommendations for our school.
