As an integral part of the Strategic Plan for the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Colorado Springs, Superintendent Holly Goodwin has gathered a group of Diocesan parishioners, Catholic school parents, Diocesan staff, and Colorado Springs community leaders to research and develop a Development plan for the Catholic schools in Colorado Springs. Once created, the plan will be presented to Bishop Sheridan for review, approval and implementation.
The mission for the Development Committee is to develop a plan which will provide stability and sustainability for Ave Maria, Corpus Christi, Divine Redeemer, Holy Apostles, St. Katharine Drexel, St. Paul, and St. Peter Catholic schools as well as St. Mary High School. This Development effort will ensure the "advancement of Diocesan schools by the establishment of an institutional advancement program including marketing, communication, development and fundraising, enrollment management, and alumni outreach." The commitment of the Development committee over the next several months is driven by the passion of its member and the leadership and dedication of Holly Goodwin and Bishop Sheridan.
